At LAB Audio we utilize both direct input and analog recording techniques to achive the best recording possible. Don't have a drummer? LAB Audio uses drum programming softwear that is provided by Toontrack and offers cutting edge sound quality percussion to your recording. Many professional albums have been recorded using Toontracks drum softwear. LAB Audio features ProTools 12.

Mixing can be done in house, or sent and received from other studios worldwide. LAB Audio utilizes Toontracks, Protools 12 Cubase 8, Ableton Live 9 and Garageband mixing software as well as other mixing options. We are proud to announce LAB Audio has just installed the Slate Raven MTI2 mixing console! Call for more information.
LAB Audio utilizes microphones by brands like Sure, Focusrite, Peavey, Audix AKG and more. Mic placement and technique are key to cathcing the perfect sound and performance. All artists are welcomed to bring a microphone to the studio if they would like.
The studio uses Madison Amps and will incorporate them into the Safford, AZ. studio location soon. We currently have Peavey products, Peavey 6505+112 Peavey 6534+head and a Peavey Classic Chorus 212 solidstate. There are 100's of guitar, bass and vocal sounds available through our AVID Eleven Rack outboard rack system. We are proud to finally install the award winning Focusrite Clarette 8 Pre X digital audio interface at LAB Audio. We also use a BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer to really drive your guitar and vocal tones. LAB Audio also uses Lexicon, Maxon and ISP Technologies as well as other multi effects processors.
LAB Audio uses KRK Rokit Powered 8 studio monitors as well as AKG, M-Audio, Audio Technica, Shure and Focusrite noise cancellation headphone monitors. This combination provides true audio imaging and makes mixing and mastering much easier.
LAB Audio encourages all students and artists to use and bring thier own instruments; however, we do have Peavey, Schecter, Jackson, Paul Reed Smith, Solar and Washburn electric guitars, Ibanez and Fender accoustic guitars and a Fender Squire Jazz bass as well as an Ibanez Sound Gear five string, Roland KV 11 V-Drums as well as a student drum kit.
